Need help selecting a prop

I need help in selecting a prop.Im wanting to just get my rpms up in the upper part of the rpm range and and alittle better performance.Any help would very much be appeciated.Thanks

1988 fisher marsh hawk 2v alum. bass
dryweight 453 lbs
10 gal gas
100 lbs of batteries
16ft 4'' long with 69'' beam
1 person
Mostly used for fishing

1972 johnson 50 hp
50hp @ 5500 rpm
5500 to 6000rpm opperating range
12:32 gear ratio
Running jackplate with 6'' setback with antivent plate 3'' above bottom
Running a solas rubex 3 blade prop 13.5 x 15p prop is cupped
max rpms is 5200
top speed is 30 mph [ speedo ] no gps

I can't be too specific but based on the weight of your boat and your setup
imo you should be approaching 35 to 40 mph at probably more than 5,500 rpm.
you might check the the throttle is opening all the way ,that the bottom is clean
check the compression.Does the boat respond well when you trim out?
I've seen boats respond surprisingly well by removing a little of the cup from the prop.

I think that the blade design on that solas rubex prop with the more rounded cupped blades is more for a 4 stroke.I borrowed a omc 13 something x 17 pitch stainless prop from a friend and it helped my motor greatly.Its turning 5500rpm and 35 mph by the speedo.Thanks
