Need help to find year of motor

I'm looking at buying a boat with 30 hp mariner outboard, however, I have no idea what year the motor is. I wrote down these numbers... <br />Model 30ml - Code 689L - Serial Number 332261<br />Can anyone tell me the year from this information?<br />Thanks )
