Need help w/iboats reply form

Must be freakin stupid, but I can't figure out how to quote a portion of a post in my reply form. Also how can I get a custom avatar added and add pics to my posts. Please learn me. :confused: <br /><br />Thanks, John

easy copy and paste in "Quote" in full reply

So do you hit the quote button and then paste it between the "quote" "quote" ?

Or click on the reply with Quote icon then delete all but what portion you want to use. As for the Avitar some one’s gonna hav’ta learn me, on that’n too.

when you highlite what you wont right click and copy then in full reply click on QUOTE then in between the bars click and paste the type in any thing else you wont out side the quote bars

FRom the post you want to quote click the reply w/ quote icon next to edit post icon.<br />Then you can delete parts you don't want.<br />Finish w/ your reply.<br />LT-you beat me to it.

Now how do you get the "originally posted by...." part. Do you have to type it in?

Nope, you just click "reply with quote" (the little blue man to the right of the poster's name) instead of just "quick reply" at bottom of topic.

to post avatar post on a hoist site like photobucket.com then copy to your URL in the profile

The avitar is put into your profile.<br />100x100 I think is what they want.<br />You have to have it hosted somewhere and then get the URL or web address for it and then go to your profile and enter it there.<br /><br />As far as pictures go, same thing, must be hosted somewhere and then click the new topic button or post a reply button and then below the reply box, you will see the word image at the bottom right. Click it and paste the URL of the picture in it and then click ok.<br /><br />Always hit the preview button to see if everything comes out the way you want before you hit Add Reply.
