Need help with 1998 9.9 4 stroke wire connections

I am in the process of restoring an old Starcraft and have purchased a 1998 9.9 4-stroke for it. I am new to boating and am a little confused as to all the connections with the motor. I have the manual that came with the motor, but it does not explain where and what each connection is and goes to. Is there anything out there that explains this. I did a search on iboats and saw the sticky on this site, but that doesn't appear to explain it. Any help would be appreciated.
