Need help with 8hp 4 stroke

I think I remember reading that yamaha put the wrong stickers on their outboards, and I am wondering which side is the right side to lay it on when transporting it off the boat? should it be on the side with the tiller handle or the side without ? It is a 2006 8hp 4 stroke.

I just bought a T8 a couple days ago and asked the dealer the same question. They said and the manual said to lay the engine on the tiller handle side.
