Need help with choosing right carb

Hi I have a '80 omc 140hp stringerr 400 and the current carb in the boat is a rochester 17059053. Problem is when using the carb selector on iBoats and other websites it shows that this carb is for a 90 hp omc. which carb do I need? I have looked and the best I could come up with was a Sierra 18-7608. I do not want to order the wrong one. Please Help. Thanks

Still looking for the right carb. My boat currently has the 17059053 but Iboats selector says it should have 17059052. What to do??????

Both 052 and 053 call up a GLM76068, seems like the same specs?

I have rebuilt the carb but I want to replace it now. Just don't know whether to get 052 or 053? Something must be different if the part numbers are right?

You can always call I-boats, they are always helpful.

Check the guaranteed carburetor website if Iboats can't help you.
I have bought a few carbs from them,great prices and they are flow tested and ready to bolt on and go with little or no adjustments.
You can also send them your carb and they will rebuild and replace any worn parts.
