need help with engine re-wire.

i thought i had this but apparently not. since i dont know boats very well, im not sure of the parts.
I have everything hooked up for the starter solenoid. my kit is from cdi.
heres the instructions from them

and the pics of where i need to put the wires. the other wires not shown and not sure if i need are the red jumper and the red/yellow jumper.

I must be dense today as you have a chart that tells where the different color wires go,so I can't understand your question or figure out which engine your are working on.

its a 1971 mercury 800 80 hp.

i dont know boat motors well. things like "choke solenoid". no clue where thats located. and i dont know if my motor is alternator driven or battery type. yeah, im a huge rookie with this kind of stuff. haha.

thats why i posted the pics, i need to put wires at those places. but im not sure which wires. or if the jumper wires are necessary. it seems like the white and brown swith box terminals wont have a wire going to them?

also, how do i know what ignition type i have? i looked in the manual for the wiring diagram and they list different types. it looks like the Type III but i would like to make sure.

Your engine is battery CD and here's a wiring diagram or the wires and different electrical pieces. Hope it's what you need.
