Need help with exhaust replacement

Hi guys, my Dad has a 1998 Tiara Cirinet, 29 footer. We took it out for the first time this season and were getting oil through the exhaust and a small water leak. Upon closer inspection (cutting out the fiberglass) we found the left muffler was fried and had a large hole in it. The muffler says Centek 1600769. It has a 5" inlet and a 5" outlet. We called Centek and they said they don't make it anymore. We asked if they could cross reference and the lady acted as if I was crazy. I found a similar Centek on their website and called back and spoke with a tech. I asked him if I could use this in place of the old one. He said he would check and call back. It's been a week and I still don't have an answer. Does anyone know if these could be swapped as long as they are the same in/out?

Why not call Tiara directly and talk to their customer service group?

They would know what fits more so than the parts vendor

Apparently I omitted that part. We did call Tiara gave the HIN and they were able to tell us the exhaust part that was in there ( we already knew that). It was amazing to us that she couldn't find anyone to help us find a replacement part.

I found a similar Centek on their website and called back and spoke with a tech. I asked him if I could use this in place of the old one.

Or,...
Get some 5" pipe, 'n delete the mufflers,...
