Hi there, welcome to iboats and you're in the correct sub-forum to post this Mercruiser question.:thumb:

When searching for Mercruiser parts it's always best to have/provide your engine serial number to help locate the right parts and help reduce any guess work of if it will fit your engine, stern drive or transom assembly applications should there be any changes.

That mentioned, I believe I found your flywheel part number by year but it seems to be no longer available....The OEM part number is 222-9518 which now would become the starting point to finding another one which probably would be a "used" one such as this one, https://www.nlamarine.com/products/...3lx-alpha-one-262cid-85-93?variant=1110579788

The flywheel is item number 6 under the parts guide that ought to be for your engine year range but again engine serial number is always best to be for sure, https://www.mercruiserparts.com/bam/subassembly/31478/951/190

Search the OEM part number online for others if desired.

https://www.mercruiserparts.com/4-3l-2-bbl-gm-262-v-6-1988-1992-0b7

That mentioned, should the flywheel ring gear teeth be damaged, you could also search out say online for a new 1990 Mercruiser V6 flywheel "Ring Gear" to install vs buying the whole flywheel....It takes heat to change out the ring gear though.

Hope this helps, good luck.

Find the gm part, looks like
(14088648) for the flywheel and (3991408) for the ring gear

First, spend the $15 and buy a ring gear, there are only two choices....153 tooth or 168 tooth

with the flywheel off

Use a drift to knock the old ring gear off

Put new ring gear in oven at 300

Clean the flywheel with a wire brush

Put flywheel in the freezer

Drink a beer

Pull flywheel from freezer and set on bench

Pull ring gear from oven and drop on flywheel

Once the temps normalize, tack weld if you want, then install flywheel
