Hi, I'm in central Az. and am being offered this old boat. It's got an early Volvo I/O so the early 60's seems likely. I wonder if someone can recognize the maker? It's 18' long and 80" max beam way forward The stern is only 60 wide so it's got some nice taper. 34" of freeboard forward and a deep V entry. Seems like an ocean boat. There are no numbers or names anywhere. I think these are some good old bones that deserve a restoration. Any idea who made it? Thanks! P1060215.JPGP1060223.JPGP1060224.JPG

youre looking at least at $5,000 to restore that and 2 years of weekends and week days, however I bet the final total is closer to $10k

not enough left to identify, and by the condition, my guess is the motor and drive need full restoration.

You got the retired and bored part right! I'm 76 and want a project besides the garden. Skills? Here's a camper I built in 1981 on a 2 ton truck frame, still going and getting 15 mpg.P1050385.JPG

I used to camp on Lake Powell in a Drascombe Lugger but it was so slow. This will be an aquatic camper with a flat raised desk to tent on when it's hot and a cabin to retire to when it's not. Small ports all around for light and vision out. Here's my first sketch. I could get to the Bahamas in this in settled weather with a spare kicker. I miss the National Regatta in Georgetown bad!P1060230.JPG
