I have an old 83-84?? Mariner that was given to me. The cowling has been spray painted for hunting and there no indication on the motor itself what horsepower it is. I am told that it is a 15hp but I need to be able to prove it on my local lake (<18hp requirement). There is no metal plate on the shaft of the motor, but on the inside there is a round, small piece of aluminum with the numbers 063067 on it. Thanks......
