need help with my birthday present

OK Guys I need help picking out my birthday present.


2006 Rinker Captiva 192
4.3L Carbed 190hp
Alpha One Gen II
1.81 (I think) Drive ratio
WOT 4800@ 48-49 GPS
OEM 13.5x21p aluminium prop

I have recently put on a set of smart tabs. Because of the mounting location, the only negative is that on pretty tight turns I have some ventilation issues. Not a huge issue but it is something I would like to correct if I can.

So I am looking to change to SS and get a prop that may be able to help my ventalation issue. I have heard that getting a prop with heavier cupping will help it. I would like to stay with a 21p so I do not loose top end. Holeshot with the tabs added is fine.


Typically I have between 2-4 people on the boat. Very light water sports, cruising mostly. 1 medium cooler and about 6 water guns


So does anyone have any recomendations for a prop that will fit my needs.

It seems to me you have a pretty nice setup.Close to 50 on a gps @4800 rpm.
It would be too bad to mess that up.
If your prop is a little worn replacing it may solve your venting.
If you trim in for a hard corner should help.Have you tried easing up the tabs a little?Have you asked Smart tabs for suggestions.If your prop is in good shape
maybe rework it ; little less pitch with some added cup.
hwsiii has a form you can fill out, just look for his posts.
Pretty involved but usually he can make a really accurate suggestion.
