Need help with OMC 3.0 litre

I hate to admit it but neglected to winterize last year (was moving) and this spring, water shot out of PCV valve during attempt to start.<br /><br />Is there a possible inexpensive fix like frost plug or is block likely cracked? Can I use a used car block (which one?). Any advice appreciated.<br /><br />Engine is OMC 3.0 litre Model 302AMFTC, Ser # T0969793, Block # CE7N02400. In a Peterborough Monza.

In all likliehood the gaskets have blown....and there is a good chance that the engine is cracked.<br /><br />There are two drain valves on the same side of the engine as the carb. If they were not drained, ouch!
