need help with this one

mako 211,,,22 foot,,,stainless marine 24" outboard bracket,,,evinrude 225 outboard,,,stiletto 17 pitch prop....this rig will only turn the prop 5400 rpm top speed 39 mph gps....with 15 pith prop,5600 rpm 36 mph gps......at WOT the boat lists to the left bad with both props....looking for 5800 rpm .................ANY SUGGESTIONS

With Hull Level and Anti-Vent plate level, where is the Anti-Vent Plate at in relation to the bottom of the Hull?

With that much set-back it should be approx. 2 1/2" to 3" Above the bottom of the Hull.

thanks for the reply.you make a good point,the plate at this time is flush with the bottom of the boat.will raise the engine and go again...thanks
