Re: Need help with this wiring diagram

I am unable to see what the fourth instrument up top is, but it is inline with the ignition lead from the switch. Correct?

The fourth instrument up top is the fuel gauge (the S terminal). And yes, the ignition is inline with the switch and the yellow/red wire from the switch goes back to the starter assist solenoid.

Re: Need help with this wiring diagram

Looks like the neutral safety (i.e., the "remote control") switch, remote control being your shifter/throttle.

Pink is usually the fuel sender "S"= sender on the gauge. They probably run it through the neutral safety switch so you can quickly figure out you are trying to start in gear because your fuel gauge will read empty (below empty usually)?

PS - unless you're using the shifters this schematic assumes, you may not have another pole (set of contacts) to wire the fuel sender to (I haven't seen one with an extra set of contacts on the switch). DO NOT hook up the pink to the same contacts as the Yellow/red. If the switch does not have another set of contacts, just wire the pink directly to the "S" terminal on the gauge.
