Need help with trim pump

I recently purchased a 1979 Skeeter Wrangler and started a massive effort to get fishing ready. While rebuilding the lower unit with novice expirience. I lifted the trim and placed a wooden block in the mechanism to prevent it from falling due to bleed off. Well after a couple of days I went to lower the engine and to my dismay the trim instead of lowering the engine only clicked when I hit the switch. Now what used to be a good pump that lowered and raised my engine only raises and clicks at attemps to lower. The engine is a 150hp mercury V6 with 2 hydraulic cylinders in the unit. There are what appears to be two cylinoids on the pump. I can loosen the bleed screw and lower the engine. Is there anyone out there that can relate?

You don't need a motor, you need a solinoid for the down circurt. If a trim motor will run one way there is not a problem with the motor.
