Re: need help

Should have no problem. Are you new to this boat?

If it was ok before something has changed, new prop ?

The cavitation plate should be an inch or so above the keel.

Re: need help

Should have no problem getting on plane unless the boat is heavy (waterlogged), over propped, or engine performance issue. Have you got it trimmed in when you take off?

Re: need help

top speed is around 70 mph with me and my wife my weight is around 165 and she weighs around 160 I hope that lowering the motor on the jack plate will help me get out of the water faster

Are you saying that with you and the wife which equals a 100lb less load than you and your cousin that your boat will do 70mph yet it will not plane with you and your cousin aboard ????
Or am I missing something here ????

Re: need help

Post some photos of your set up, especially the motor, bottom of the hull and cavitation plate.
How much other weight are you carrying and where are you carrying it ??
Have you weighed the outfit to see if you are hauling water sodden foam ??
