i have 91 ford cobra 2.3 omc i/o starts fine idles great when in the water in drive if i go over 2000rpm the motor quits cant figure it out cleaned tank changed filters cleaned carb just need help

did you look at the anti-siphon fitting for debris where fuel exits the tank?
could be a fuel pump on it's way south too

no i did not check that but it seems to have strong fuel pressure
