Hello all, brand new here so i don't know if this is the right place to put this. So i recently bought a 1986 sea-ray 230 cuddy with the 260 5.7 cruiser. I took it out for the first time yesterday, and noticed it was overheating, let it cool down, and limped back to the boat launch, i know the impeller is bad, but i was getting it back, and shut it off to back my truck in and i started it, it started, stalled, restarted and stalled, boat was close to truck at this point to i just reeled it in, not thinking much i get it back to my house, and go to start it and all i here is a click, from the starter, the starter slave solenoid has power, and is going to the starter, but the starter click. Could the engine have seized up or is it the starter? I took the starter out and its a older starter and smells like its burnt inside. I hope i didn't seize it anyway to tell?
