Need info and parts for sea king 5

I have a sea king 5 M/ward(mod#GG900001A)<br />(ser#55x564160) I need carb parts (kit)(new)<br />I would like to know if the 55x56 is the Yr of man,or what the year of man is ,and what kind of hoops I will have to jump threw to get carb parts,I have a vaciume leak (fuel air mix) problem threw the top of the carb.how do I remedy this if I can't get parts?

Hi sea king 5, Your motor is a 1955 model made by the Gale division of OMC for Montgomery Ward. You can get carb parts and other parts from Twin City Outboards (952) 496-1951. The carbs on those motors are pretty bullet proof, where do you think you have a vacuume leak? The only thing that can really go bad on them are the needle valves. Is your high speed valve damaged? Anyway, good luck. TCO can get you whatever you need.

The air leak is at the throttle controle,lever,between the plastic and the alum housing,the half moon shaped part at the TOP of the carb, I get the engine running and choke the carb with my thumb,get it to run and spray carb garb at the top of the carb at almost full throttle, and it tries to die.REM ? ideas,Twin citys needs to have the carb,and I cut apart a briggs carb to get the choke plate and housing,and I'm going to put that on there for now so I can Reg fuel air Mix,
