That's a Gale built '58-'59 3hp outboard, sold by Eaton's under the Viking label. I belive it's functionally equivalent to the Johnson JW series and Evinrude Lightwin outboards. They're great little runners.<br />Points: Set to open .020" max<br />Plugs: Champion J6C gapped at .030" (J6J is NLA)<br />LU oil: OMC/BRP 'HiVis' or equivelent 90 weight outboard gearcase oil.<br />Fuel/Oil mix: 24:1 87 octane gas to TC-W3 rated outboard oil.<br /><br />Replace the fill/drain screw gaskets on the lower unit with each use. You can get them at the dealer for a few pennys each.
