Need info. on Mercury #2106813

Just acquired this 50hp-looks clean but a couple of hoses are disconnected on stbd. side of engine and I can't see where they connect-cooling water hose is conn.-so I've eliminated that-any suggestions??--Also, I assume this is a 1968-is that correct??--Thanks for any help you can give--pes

If your ser # is 2106813 it is a 1966 according to the chart at oldmercs.com. Oldmercs.com and Maxrules.com will have some online diagrams and pics which might help you. They also have manuals and parts that I found very helpful.

Welcome to the forum!<br />These gas lines are on the starboard side:<br /> http://www.ishopmarine.com/ishop/js...8&path=MM~A0000023~M0017696~M0017700~C0321348 <br />There's also the water telltale hose at the very back.<br />That's all I can think of short of going outside and taking a look, which I might do if that doesn't solve it.<br />Eric
