need info on mfg process, looking for a good used 17' bowrider

hello, I'm new here, and wondering if someone can tell me what brands and what year they went to fiberglass only design (don't want any wood because of rot) any advice is appreciated.

I all but have a 1996 Sailfish 176 cc I like the construction- it was made in Florida for the ocean has a 65 gal fuel tank

But I guess it really matters what you want the boat to do, the wife would rather have a 23 ft cuddy
