need lower unit 1999 200hp

Can anyone provide a link to where I can find out which manufacturer/ year/models will fit my Johnson 1999, Model J 200 VX SSS.
Some guys on e-bay are telling me that what they are selling will fit, I need a way to confirm this. thanks.

The model number is for a 2000 25" motor so you need to start there.

There are also three different standard drives listed for that year and model. If you look up your model and get the right part for your current drive, comparison will be relatively easy. All compatible gearcases will have two-part driveshafts.

Thanks for your reply and link, I assumed 1999 year because that is whats on the motor. The search continues.

The 1992-2003 unit will interchange as will the 2003-06 heavy duty magnum series. Earlier cross flow units will work also but you would have to change out upper and lower driveshafts. I dont like using the pre 92 units as they had the 4 bolt carrier. What price range are you want to spend?

Faztbullet, prices I have been quoted and have seen on e-bay range from $500.00-$1000.00 for used, and $1300.00- $3500.00 new or rebuilt.
I am going to be patient (no hurry to fix yet). I am hoping I can find someone who has converted to jet drive and has a like new one.
Right now I whould pay up to $600.00.
Buying the parts for a rebuild and doing the work myself is also a possibility.
There is a ficht model E175FPXEEC serial# G04619028 on e-bay that I am watching.
tashasdaddy, I had checked those out and am hoping I can get a lot better price. Thanks.

91-99 200-250 are all compatable and 27.25" 2 piece drive shaft and same gear ratio good luck i picked one up off craigs list for 450
