need more info on Clinton Apache

I need to order a manual for my Clinton Apache but I dont know the year, horsepower, air or water cooled or both. The only numbers I can find on the engine are as follows;<br /><br />Clinton Engines Corp.<br />Model #J9 1106 B<br />Serial #099219<br /><br />Thanks a bunch!<br />BJ

J9 is a 5 hp at 6,800 rpm.It has a Clinton aircooled power head with a water cooled exhaust leg.It is critical the leg is properly cooled.<br /> A mist of water should come out of the little outlets on the rear of the leg.I cant tell the exact year but my info indicates at least 60-68<br />with a AJ9 and BJ9 in 69.It may be hard to find a manual specific to Clinton as they have been out of business for some time.There are aftermarket manuals that cover a number of brands.They may be available here at Iboats or a number of places on the web also check eBay and the library.<br />This number may be some help 563-652-2411 they<br />have Clinton parts and may have info as well.<br /> Good luck

DuedSteelespike) I don't know you,I do know the differance bettween Fool and Ignorant,If you have never looked it up I suggest you do so,and at that point if you still don't know what it meens then take a good look in the mirror,<br />Car, Truck, Van, Sled, Lawn mowers, Weed eaters, Blowers, R/C Model airplanes, R/C cars,ect,all have one thing in common.????????
