After attempting to rewire the MerControl for my new tach that only reads stator or ignition pulses from non-magneto ignitions(mine has a magneto), and seeing lots of wire insulation fall to the ground upon opening said MerControl, I've discovered I need a new neutral safety switch. Would a local electronics store be able to match it up, or do I need to go to a website, or just bypass it and keep my fingers crossed? I really need an exact match. IE: mounting holes/arm lengtht\/ roller dia./body width/etc. Has anyone else had to deal with this? It's a Normally Closed microswitch, if that helps.
