I have a 1959 35hr Evinrude that I have completely rebuilt. The prop that is running on it is pretty banged up with chips and gouges. It also looks like it has been ground down. It is time to get a new prop. First how can I tell what pitch is already on the engine. What would be the best prop for my boat it is 16' glasspar probably around 1964. The engine barely gets it up to a plan. So what would the best prop for me be.
