Please help me decide best motor to purchase between and 1982 Mercury 90 HP (#5996898)and a 1988 VRO Erinrude 90 HP (model E90TLCCA). Motor will be used on a 20' Landau Pontoon. If pricing is a factor in decision then the rest of story is: Merc comes with a 1981 Forester 16' closed bow for $1500; Erinrude comes with 1977 17' Rinkerbuilt Tri Hull for $1250. Both boats needs interior restoration but both motors run good. Please give me your opinions about merc vs erinrude. If you'd like to comment on the boats, please feel free as I'll end up with one of them and will have to decide what to do with it. Thanks
