need owners manual

Hi guys, We jsut bought a 1996, 24ft. Fisher pontoon. It's in great shape but doesn't have an owners manual. We are first time boaters and need to know more about the boat. Does anyone know where we can get a manual?

It is doubtful if you will find a manual.

If you will post your questions about your boat here, you will get an abundance of knowledgeable answers.

I agree 100% with EGliderider, most boat manuals have nothing to do with care & upkeep anyway. I think the gist of them is to cover their rears in case someone does something like putting a 300 hp ob on the mount bracket.

Yup, the only papers that come with a new toon are the ones from the stereo ect.

With boats they sinply don't make enough of them to justify the cost of a manual.

They may have only made 100-200 of that particular model.

Contact your local DNR and look into a safe boater coarse, it will cover the basics so you aren't completely blind your first couple times out, there is alot to learn on the water.

If you have a specific question(s) don't be afraid to ask, the only dunb question is the one you don't ask.
