Hey I need help on one more issue with this motor. I put my 1973 Chrysler 70 (707HF) on a boat with rack style steering. Does anyone know if and where I can get the main pivot mount bolt that is hollow and will anchor my steering tube? I have a hommade clamp system worked out but it would trim/tilt better with the hollow tube. Any ideas? You will need a Clevis as well as the hollow tube..there are 2 kinds of tubes...1 has grooves cut in it while the other is smooth.

They are both threaded and tighten to the steering cable via the large nut.

We have the smooth one is stock.

Check to see if Iboats sells one...if not..you may email me.

marinedoctor@shaw.ca

TMD
