Need parts for Gamefisher motor 5.0

Does anyone know where I can find parts for a <br />Sears Gamefisher motor 5.0 hp---model #217.585510<br />the magneto assembly parts # 610382A<br />or parts #30547A<br />or parts #30548B<br />not real sure of the year.<br />thanks in advance for your help<br />Ozzie

Hi Ozzie: Try the Sears website: PartsDirect.com, or dial 1-800-FOR-MY-HOME and give them your model and parts numbers. I've gotten some parts for my old Sears engine thru them and had no problems. If it's an air/water cooled motor with a Tecumseh powerhead and Eska lower unit you can try the Eska website. Good luck!

Hi I work at a lawn and garden EQ. shop, and the two part numbers 30547a and 30548b are standard points and condeners for most 1950s to med 80s tech. motors. stop at your local lawn mower repair shop and pick up a set for most likey less then $20.00 with tax. point gap is .020 for all models . good luck and hoppy boating.

Here's the place that bought out the Gamefisher line from Sears. They supply parts and prices are approx 1/2 of the Sears parts store. They also have more parts than Sears carries. I know this is real late but I just looked up that exact model number 217.585510 for a friend not five minutes ago. The year is 1982<br /><br />Clymer makes a shop manual # B750 3.5-140HP 1966-1984<br /><br />It's not the best in the world but can be ordered<br /><br />Luck to ya<br />Link
