a 1979 150 Mercury did a compression check all are around 100-110 except the #3 cylinder was 90. The control lever needs rebuilt because the throttle doesn't work in it when you press it down it comes loose inside. The carborators are gummed up in it, and its not charging, but it will start and run, and acts okay. I wouldn't care to fix it myself if someone could help me find a place to buy the parts for this model engine. either used or new. The mariners around Eastern Kentucky say its so outdated that you can't get parts for it. I can't afford a new motor for the boat either. If anyone knows where to buy parts for an older motor, please let me know here or my personal email, shadoe@mrtc.com<br />I have done all the tests on the motor for the other questions I have asked, and its fixed those problems. Thank you all for your help
