My prop has a moderate size chip on one of its two blades. I think this is causing cavitation?? at high speeds. It is a 6hp Sea King made by Chrysler - 1968. Have tried Iboats propeller but is tooo expensive ($129) - motor is worth about $50. Is there a place I can go for something a little less expensive?

You may be able to have the prop repaired at a prop shop.
Other wise watch ebay, try twin cities outboards.
What makes you think it is cavitating?(actually venting)
You may have a spun hub. Also can be fixed.
Test by making an indeleble mark across the hub run it and check the mark.
