I use a variety of 3M products. You should visit their website.

I'm with Bob! In the boat business they make life easy. Plenty of product support.

I've used 3M 2000 microfine, followed up with carnuba wax. Great results. Keep that polisher moving and wet or you'll be asking the best place to get spot paint work done.

Yes people who first buy a polisher go too fast and too dry..... end up burning paint off!! Just be careful.

thanks for all the input, do all waxes and polishing compounds work with a rotary buffer? Look like 3m is the only company that states if it does or not.

Yes you can in theory use any wax/compound with one. You should visit a junkyard and see if you can get a body panel from a car to play with and practice on BEFORE you venture on to something worth big bucks. Clear coat can be removed in a snap!!! with rubbing compound and a polisher.... then it will not shine but it will be smooth.

That scratch remover is allot of cash and made for a person who wants to do it by hand........ try some 3M fine cut or a big bottle of a 3m product.... your money will be better spent.

Okay so what accessories did you get for your polisher? Foam pad? Sheep's Wool Pad...... you should visit a good auto store that sells paint and they will have ALL the toys.
