Hello, I just purchased my first boat, which is a 1975 Caravelle. The man I bought it from said the fuel line and tank need to be flushed because their is some gunk inside of it. What is the easiest way to go about flushing my fuel line and tank? Thanks!

I'm no expert, but you might be better off changing the line out to prevent future problems. It may cost you a few bucks now, but save you a lot later. Just my 2 cents.

Welcome to iboats!!

Change that fuel line and install new fuel line that is alcohol resistant since most gasoline is now E-10. What people have found here on iboats....is that the E-10 gasoline has a unique side effect of cleaning things out.

Another suggestion is to install a fuel water seperator/filter.
