Need some advice

I'm not sure if I am posting this in the right place or not so if I'm not could someone tell me where I need to post it correctly.

I have a 1986 70 HP Johnson that I am trying to find out if its possible or even feasible to buy & install the newer type carbs for it that have the adjustable needle valves on them. Mine are fixed & I would like to get the adjustable ones if that makes any sense. If not just let me know. Thanks
