Need some help an input PLEASE!!!

hi all please help me lol
I just got a boat hull for 500. its an 81 arrowglass tri it had a 4cyl that had a cracked block the guy removed the block for his brother to use for parts my old boat that is a total WAIST 74 carravelle baracuda IV that has a good inl 6cyl 250 cid merc 165hp
and the stern is good he did leave me the stern from his 4cyl 2 questions
1) can i use the stern from the 4cyl and

2) since his and my engine are both merc should the transom plate and mount work with my 6cyl? i know i have to make a whole new front stringer mount but any help would be very nice and yes the arrowglass still has all the trim and other stuff in there just no motor and front mount.. thank you for any help.

also has any one ever changed from a 4cyl merc to a inline 6cyl?? links would be good also..

Ayuh,... Depending on the left over parts available to ya,...
Ya might run into rear motor mount differences between those Vintages....
The rear motor mount spacing changed during that time, 'n the I6 was Long Gone by 81...
