I bought a 98 premier pontoon with a 90HP mercury hanging on it and it will not fire. No spark
I am thinking i have a bad stator since i found several connectors within the wires going to the stator which was fried. I fixed the connectors but still no luck. I pulled the stator so i can test it but cannot find the specs to test with vom meter. any suggestions to get this thing firing would be appreciated...thanks.all..ps to me the serial number looks like 06737964 but it might be 0G...you can see in pic if it helps
I did replace the silver box which i think is the ignition box but it didnt help. I have replaced the 3 spark plugs and have done some crank tests for spark and no spark. I know fuel is getting to the 3 cylinders cuz we have pulled all three plugs and they were wet after a couple attempts.
