I have finshed laying my new plywood, glass, and resin down in my floor. The question i have is do i need to prime my floor before putting paint on or just paint it? I'm using rustoleum professional enamel with an acrylic epoxy hardner in it. Also what is the ratio for the hardner for the rustoleum. I'm rolling and tipping.

I always recommend primer. Check the link in my signature "Paint Your Boat for Under $100 Bucks" on how to apply the paint. It talks about Majic Paint but it's the same for Rustoleum. 2oz of hardener per Qt of paint. Mix for 30 minutes before applying and use all the paint within 8 hrs of mixing. I'd recommend using the Roll n' Roll technique instead of Roll n' Tip.

wood, i noticed your mixing ratios are for 14-16 foot hull. How would the ratios change for a 20' hull?

Same ratio's just more paint. I'd mix a Quart at a time, using 2 oz of Hardener. I'd also thin with 1/2 cup of Acetone. This will make it "Flash" off a bit faster and cure faster and harder in my opinion. Make sure and Paint Early in the morning or late in the evening IN THE SHADE. NEVER in Direct Sunlight. For the Deck use a 1/2" nylon roller. It will give it a bit of texture which is what you want on the deck. I even used some Play Sand from Lowes and made a "Salt Shaker" from a coffe can and plastic lid with holes punched in it to shake the sand in the wet paint on the first coat. Then rolled the second and third coat over that. Turned out a nice non skid surface.

My next "little project" is inside the cuddy. I have sanded everything smooth for primer, but i need some guidance. I have ridges in the cuddy from the way the outside of the boat it. What i want to do is put something in there to form with roundness, then eventually put some cushions on the back. I was thinking of leuon and some liquid nails. If liquid nails will not bond to fiberglass what will? Here's a pic of what im talking about

Was thinking something like this:

Wood, can i use that same paint formula for the inside? All the blue paint will be white, but i dont want it to chip or scratch.

Yep, with the hardener it's very durable.
