I know this is not a resto thread but i need some help, I'm 20 I restored my first boat last summer 1979 Tempest 18' 120 I/O Mercruiser (transom, stringers, and deck), now i have just purchased my second boat. Its a 2011 Bayliner 175 thats right 2011 so i know this doesn't fit in with the resto section but i know you guys will have all the right answers to my questions, HOW do I properly maintain the deck and hull of this boat to avoid ever having to do a resto agian? i just want to know how to keep the boat from rotting (it has a carpet in it from the factory) So i am basically asking how do i take care of this boat so i can only keep READING these resto forums and not have to make another one 10 years down the road?
