need to change ignition switch

90ish E115MLESB, key broke & ignition switch is cracked anyway, so gonna change the switch. is there anything more then just removing a couple screws & the side case opening up? do i need to remove throttle handle? is there a .pdf link/diagram/pics anywhere? or is it really that straightforward?

I haven't done it on that motor, but have on a 65 johnson, and 90 merc. It is pretty simple. Just make sure that if you dont have the wiring diagram to clearly label the wires so you know where they go, A, B, M etc. If you put the black/yel on wrong it won't spark. If in doubt take pictures along the way, I always do!

thanks, i've done wiring & taken or drawn many pictures. i was just curious as to how the control splits. it broke in the dark & it's been pouring rain since i got home from work today, so i ain't getting a look til the morning & i wanna head to fire island as soon as i replace the switch..........
