Need to findout Horsepower

Does anyone know how to determine the HP on my 1999 3.0l volva penta, im trying to sell the boat and cant get and accurate nada value with out the engine horsepower.

It's most likely 135 HP. Is there any model number on the engine?

BTW, NADA numbers are very rough estimates anyway, so I wouldn't sweat it too much.

Is whats on the outside of the boat, but I googled that number and couldnt find out anything on that.

If you really want to know, visit Volvo Penta's home page. They may have an FAQ section, or something. At the very least they may have a contact you can email your question to. But I'm betting that it's either the 135 hp that NYBo says, or very close.

That's the HIN (hull identification number). I was talking about the engine itself.

Are there any 3.0L from the mid-90's on that aren't 135 HP? I had the understanding that all the 3.0L were 135HP.

My 3.0L is 140 HP, but it's from 1980. Not sure what accounted for the extra 5 HP (which I'm sure is long since gone due to age).
