need to know some info on my motor

I posted a message about the year of my engine. i was told it was a 1960. Here are the numbers again: Model number V4SL 12 the serial number is 2049092. It is a Johnson 75 hp. My dad purchased it from my brother-in-law. It is suppose to run, however the spark plug wires are missing. Can someone give us the firing order and tell us where to get the plug wires? Thank you all help from anyone is great appreicated.

Don't know about the firing order. You'll find all that in the manual. But I can finish what bubbakat started. 50522 is the Evinrude 1960 75 hp. <br /><br />V4S-12 Johnson 1960 <br />75 hp @ 4500 rpm<br />89.5 cu.in. = 1466.6 ccm V-4 <br />216 - 220 lbs. = 98 - 99.8 Kg <br />prop 10 x 11 <br />gear ratio 20:23<br />And the picture.

Firing order is simply 1,2,3,4.<br /><br />Cylinders are numbered as viewed standing in back of the engine:<br /><br />2..1<br />4..3
