need to remove carpet!!!!!what to use?

replacing the deck on my boat. im about ready to cut the deck and start removing the carpet from the rest of the floor and side walls. anyone know the easiest way to do this????

Anyone with a sawzall should have a set of these in there box .. I said this in a post a long time ago .. .

I second that, but BE CAREFUL!!! The sawsall has a long stroke so let the scraper do the work. Don't force it as it can get away from you in a hurry and bounce in a place you don't want it to go... sorry to say that lesson was from personal experience.

Depending on how old and how strong you are, a couple pairs of vice grips and start pulling might be faster.

I just pulled mine all off. Get up an edge of it and start pulling
. The glue is a different story.

I first use pliers to pull up the carpet, I then follow up beind with a angle grinder with a wire brush cup. this will remove any leftover backing and glue with minimal dammage to any flooring surface. It is much faster than any scraper, and the bristles will follow coutours easily.
