I need to replace my power trim/tilt motor. It looks like a pretty straight forward job except for one thing. The motor is the square style with screws on each corner. the screws facing out are no problem. The back two screws are the problem. They are located between the transom and the engin bracketand are nearly impossible to get to. Does any one have any suggestions on how to remove those two screws. If you know of any other problems I may encounter, please let me know.

Thanks

You might try raising the mtr up and then hang or block it. Then take the pin out of the upper trim ram and pull the unit back.
