Can someone please help me I have been trying to get a 1977 evinrude 140 running for a couple of months now and I finally got the carbs cleaned and somehow lost spark while reattaching the carbs. I have been troubleshooting and after buying meters and DVA adapters I now know that I have a bad sensor in the timer base and most likely a bad power pack 4 . Isn't there a way for me to buy just the trigger sensor and not the 330 dollar timer base ? I mean it's not welded to the base or anything I should be able to purchase just the sensor and not have to spend all that money, can't afford any more big dollar items! Anybody got any advice or used parts maybe?
