I know this is a frequently asked question, but it concerns the stutter switch on a 1987 2.5 L Mercruiser. Last time at the lake I needed biceps, or is it triceps???
to get it into neutral. At the time I didn't think about repairing it, ya know? having too much fun. So I get it home and test the switch and it doesn't work, but did I test it right?
<br /><br />I was in neutral and twisted the switch both ways, nothing. Does it need to be in drive? Does it need to be in water for that whole resistance backpressure thing?<br /><br />Thanks in advance for your help and when will I ever see any of you on a lake in Arizona? Lake Pleasant mostly
