Restoring my father in law's boat - someone soldered the drain plug shut many moons ago, Keeps the water out, but when the boat is out of the water, it makes it a bathtub. Cracked the top plate trying to take it out. can't seem to find anything like this for sale online. Any help out there? Pictures attached. Thanks!

Thanks, Wrench3. I'm seeing different options online but not a whole lot of descriptive detail. Thread length seems to vary - either 13/16" or 1 5/16" . I'm guessing I want the smallest since it is only going through the aluminum? Doesn't look like there are any screws or bolts. Do the two pieces just join by threading them together with the hull in the middle? And is there some special kind of goop that I slather in between to seal? Thanks - really appreciate the help!

I couldn't find much on specs for it but I did come up with a better picture.
The O ring seals to the bottom of the boat but I think I'd put a little dope on the threads. If you need to go thinner for your hull it shouldn't be a problem to trim off a bit of plastic.
