The last camcorder I even thought about, cost us $800 (it was a $1200 store return, "mid-priced" Sony), purchased before DS was born, which he will soon graduate from high school.
Well, it' time to start thinking again soon, as he and his brothter are now in school choirs, etc.
Other than requiring a remote mike jack and priced under $350 or so, I know nothing about them. One that works good in low light is helpful.
What is the stuff to look for?
