Hey guys, I have a 1997 wellcraft eclipse 2000ss and I have some bad gauges that i want to replace, but i cant see a manufacturer on the gauges anywhere, is there like an autozone for boats where i can plug in my information on the boat and it matches me up with the correct equipment? Also I would love to get my hands on an owners manual for this particular boat so if anyone knows where to find something like that it would help a ton, thanks guys for any and all help.

Gauges don't often fail. You might want to test em b4 you buy new ones. If you go to the sticky post at the top of the forum and look up your brand & model of engine it will have info on how to test the gauges.
Then if you are sure they need changing there are a few places that have lots of styles and brands. Your boat being a 97 there's a reasonable chance you can match the brand & model. Great Lakes Skipper has a lot of NOS (new old stock) I'd maybe look in there. Or Amazon, or Iboats, or E-bay, or West Marine. I am sure there are others.

Re: needing to replace some gauges, please help!!!

thanks for the tip, the only reason i say the gauges are bad is because it appears they have had exstensive water damage and they have tons of corrosion on the back of them, some of the connections are even broken off from the amount of corrosion on the back of it. Also the gauge is stuck at
4K rpm and does not budge, and several of the other gauges are not working, in fact the only gauges that are working are the ones that do not appear to have water or corrosion damage on the back of them. Also will some of the diff models work for my boat, will the wiring be the same? Many of the pictures from the gauges i have looked at only show the front, and does the rpm range matter? My gauge is set for 0-6K and its set up for an I/O.

I'd contact Wellcraft and see if they can help. They have some owner's manuals on their website, not too many pre 2000.

Here's the contact page from their website:

Here's the link to the manuals they have on their website:

I would just buy an entire replacement set. Fortunately, the sending units tend to be universal, with few exceptions. There are a number styles available right here.

Not trying to thread jack here, but I would like to find this info to do some test on my gauges. Looked for the sticky but don't think I found the right one. Could you advise or link to the info / sticky for gauge testing -thanks

There is no sticky for gauge testing. The sticky has a generic wiring diagram that can be used for troubleshooting. The only info you need is that each gauge needs +12 volts on the "I" (ignition) terminal with the key on. It also needs ground and in the case of the trim, fuel, tach, they also need a signal from the applicable sender. If any of these are missing or loose the gauge won't work. Additionally, since the gauge wiring is daisy chained (wired from one gauge to the next) if the first gauge in the string is not connected properly none of the others work either. Any gauge that has a sender associated with it can be tested by turning on the key. Then temporarily jump the "S" (sender) terminal to the ground terminal. If the gauge has 12 volts and ground, the needle will peg full right. This test is NOT VALID if ground and +12 volts is not present on the gauge. A voltmeter does not have a sender. It only needs +12 volts and ground.
